Orphanages and Children Shelters

We have worked with orphanages and children shelter’s since 2001 in Houston, Texas. Currently, we are located in Carrollton, Texas.  Our initiative is to also bring awareness to missing children, amber alerts, physical and sexually abused children.

What is child abuse? The federal government defines child abuse and neglect in the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act as “the physical and mental injury, sexual abuse, negligent, or maltreatment, of a child under the age of 18 by a person who is responsible for the child welfare under circumstances which indicate that the child’s health or well-being is harmed or threatened.” (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Children, Youth and Families, (2004). Due to the COVID-19, we halted the Keeping our Children Safe campaigns at the libraries.
